Wikis

I enjoyed seeing the Mint wiki from the Mint Museum Library but was disappointed that there didn't appear to be any comments added. It would seem quite a bit of work to maintain this wiki and without public feedback/comment, this content could just as easily have sat on a website. Somehow they need to market this better - or have I missed the comments section?

I think it would be great to see SLQ's new resources highlighted via a wiki. Our convict database webpage links to a feedback form - this could be hosted on a wiki so feedback/comments are visible.

Flickr

When I look at my Flickr account I realise it's been a while since I uploaded some images there. I feel sure I was in the process one day and then had some uploading problems at home i.e. too many simultaneous users drawing on our bandwidth :( and so I aborted my attempts, forgetting to return it would seem.
Today I have revisited my account and uploaded another image.
Think I should also try to add an image to this post so I 've chosen another one from a hiking trip to New Zealand.

First post

Well it's a belated start so I'll be racing to finish this program in time :( - guess I work well under pressure!
I always intended to sign up for this course, but in between updating wikis at work, editing posts for others, etc. I didn't quite get around to it. My aspirations for this course would be to
1. formally learn how to use some of the tools I already play with - there's always more to learn, and
2. committed to learning about tools that I might have otherwise ignored.
